In the early years, the establishment excelled in the manufacturing and remanufacturing of gold jewelry, with the great visionary Shri Kelappan Kunnath being a key figure. His legacy and artistry in the gold trade were carried forward by his son, the late Shri Pavithran Kunnath.

Through hard work and selfless service, Shri Pavithran Kunnath rose from being an ordinary goldsmith to leaving his unique mark in the gold trade. In 1977, he established Pavithra Jewelry in Chakkarakallu, Kannur. In a short period, Pavithra Jewelry became a leading establishment in gold jewelry manufacturing and sales in Chakkarakallu, winning the love and trust of the public and embarking on a successful journey.
Today, Pavithra Gold and Diamonds operates four jewelry outlets under the names Pavithra Jewelry and Pavithra Gold and Diamonds in Chakkarakallu and Mattannur, Kannur. The business, with its long-standing tradition, deals in gold, diamonds, platinum, silver, and gemstones.
Following the demise of Shri Pavithran Kunnath, the business is now managed by his wife, Mrs. Anita Pavithran, and their children, Shri Nishanth Kunnath and Sandeep Kunnath.
